CLARIFICATION: A misunderstanding has circulated among members that a person can only serve on a Committee if they are appointed by the President. This is not true! In accordance with Article VI, Section 2 of the Bylaws, each committee shall have a minimum of three members appointed by the President. One of the three must be an Officer or Director of the Board of Directors. A committee can have many members provided no conflict of interest exists between the member and the obligations of the committee.
